How Do You Know If You Have Bad Breath?
If you have to ask yourself if you have bad breath, then the odds are pretty high that you do. Do not be too embarrassed though, because everyone in the world has had bad breath at one time or another. There are even people out there with chronic bad breath, or halitosis, which is an actual medical condition. While there are many different reasons for having bad breath, the first step is to figure out if you really have bad breath or not.
So how can a person tell if they have bad breath? Perhaps one of the most universally known warning signs that you have bad breath is people backing away from you when you begin to talk. Obviously, there is a reason that they don’t want to be close to you anymore, and if it isn’t because of what you are telling them, it’s probably your breath!
Another way to tell if you have bad breath is simply to stop and ask yourself when the last time you ate was, and what you had to eat. If it’s five o’clock and you haven’t had anything to eat or drink since noon, the odds are good that your breath is probably more than a little stale. If you had extra onions on your sandwich at lunch, then everyone you work with probably knows it.
Just keep in mind that while onions taste great on a sandwich, they don’t smell that great on your breath. Maybe you should think about popping a mint or at least a piece of gum. The saliva produced by the gum or mints will help to wash away any bad breath germs and sweeten your breath to boot.
In the end, you shouldn’t be obsessed with your breath, but it is common courtesy to check your breath every now and again in order to keep from grossing others out and embarrassing yourself at the same time.
P.S. This is the proven method I recommend to my friends and readers. Read testimonials from previous sufferers.
